Connecting your Google Calendar

Before you begin:

•  disable the popup  blocker in your browser.

If it is enabled, you need to disable it during the connection process. After successful connection, you can enable it again.

If you do not know how to disable your popup blocker, click here for procedures for Firefox, Safari, Chrome or Internet Explorer..

•  log-in to your Google Account which contains the Google Calendar you want to connect with TimeTrade.

During the connection process, you will be prompted to grant TimeTrade access to your Google Calendar data. If you are not already signed onto your Google calendar account, you must enter your Google email address and password. Note that this information is being requested by Google and is not stored in TimeTrade, so your Google calendar credentials remain secure. After connecting, no Google account information is shared with TimeTrade other than your Google Calendar busy status. After you have disabled the popu[ blocker and logged into your Google account, perform the following steps to connect TimeTrade with your Google Calendar:

1. Log-in to your TimeTrade account.
2. From the main dashboard, select the Admin tab and then select the listing for My Account.
3. Select the Connect Your Calendar tab.
4. Click the Connect to Google Calendar image.
5. TimeTrade leads you through the connection process.

After establishing the connection, return to the Connect Your Calendar tab in TimeTrade.

Review and either accept the default calendar settings or modify them to fit your needs.

From the pulldown portion of the calendar menu, make certain the calendar you want connected with TimeTrade is selected. Once you have established your preferred calendar settings, be certain to click the button labeled save calendar settings.

The following settings will allow TimeTrade appointments that are booked with you to show up in your Google calendar that is connected with TimeTrade. It will also get busy times from your Google calendar which will eliminate conflicts and possible double bookings.

enable the box to automatically insert TimeTrade appointments into your Google Calendar

enable the box to "get busy times" from Google Calendar

•  click the save calendar settings button

After your Google Calendar has been successfully connected with TimeTrade, you can view the busy times from your personal calendar in your TimeTrade activity calendar grid by enabling the preview in TimeTrade. Click here for procedures to view your busy times from your TimeTrade account.

I have multiple Google calendars (examples: work, personal, family)

in services like Tungle.me I can add all of my google calendar accounts to ensure that I am not getting double booked.

Today, TimeTrade double booked me and I had a look into it.   I can NOT find a way to add more than one google calendar to my time trade account and that clearly is the cause of the double booking.

Adding this feature is not rocket science and I am not the first with this request from what I read in your FAQs.... Is this feature available? if yes... where?

Nancy

Is there a way to resend/refresh appointments to my Google Calendar? Several appts aren't showing up. Also a multiple calendar function would be helpful for freelancers like me.

Thanks,

I just signed up to use Timetrade, but it looks like I won't be able to use it because it only gives me the option to sync with one of my google calendars (I have one for work, home, wife, kids--6 total).

Is there any way to have timetrade sync with multiple google calendars???

Thanks.

I am going thru the steps and it works (kinda) - It only put 4 of my 11 appointments in the calendar. Can you explain what I need to do to get all of them in my google calendar? Thank you -

Hi Nancy,

I am trying to integrate my Google calendar into timetrade, but nothing is showing up. When I go to do the actual connecting/integrating it shows me an email for the Google Calendar, instead on mine, it just showing one of my fields on my calendar. I have dividied up my Google Calendar into different tasks

Please help. I am desperate to get this set up. Thank you!

Timetrade says it's connected to my google calendar but nothing is showing up; I can see the appointment scheduled in Timedriver though - any thoughts? Thanks

I just looked into your account and it appears you are connected to Outlook Calendar. Do you see the toolbar connector in Outlook? If so, what color is the status symbol? I enabled the preview in TimeTrade and did see busy times showing from Outlook. Regarding any TimeTrade appointments that were booked, did you receive a confirmation email?

For a faster response regarding issues you may be encountering, I would suggest submitting a support ticket to our helpdesk. From the main dashboard of the support site, select the tab labeled "submit a request", fill in the details and submit.
